San Antonio's CPS Energy Offers Customers Low Rates

According to a Rate Survey of Residential Bills for Major Texas Cities in July 2005 (see www.puc.state.tx.us); San Antonio electric rates from city owned CPS Energy customers rated the lowest bills.

San Antonio customer's average residential electricity use is 1,184 kilowatt hours (kWh) per month. CPS Energy rates for 1,000 kWh were $84.39 and for 1,500 kWh $128.97 for July 2005.
